IGRSM, formerly known as Malaysian Remote Sensing Society (MRSS), was formed in July, 1995. Its overall objective is to support and facilitate development of geospatial and remote sensing technologies in the country.
Since its formation, IGRSM has embarked in several activities aimed towards further promoting the use of the technology, strengthening government-private sector interaction, encouraging more publications of R&D results and keeping members duly informed of geospatial and remote sensing activities within and outside the country.

Next Generation of Microsatellite Earth Observation Constellation
Axelspace creates and manufactures microsatellites, spacecrafts weighing less than 100 kg, and provides those microsatellites to our customers all over the world. Since our establishment in 2008, Axelspace has created three microsatellites, including the world first commercially-traded microsatellite called “WNISAT-1”. Our satellite technology, originally born in the laboratories of the University of Tokyo and the Tokyo Institute of Technology, has continuously improved in reliability and cost-performance through those satellite projects.
